Further to the last update I can confirm that Vickers Viking G-AGRW ‘Vagabond’ has been dismantled and loaded onto three trucks at Bad Voslau Airport – Austria and is on the final stage of a near 1,000 mile journey back to Blackbushe. The Viking currently resides at Dover awaiting a leader van and is estimated that the Viking will arrive at Blackbushe Airport between 1100 and 1200 tomorrow Tuesday 2nd May 2023. The Viking will then be reassembled over the coming weeks and months and we hope to raise further funds ASAP for the restoration. The charity thanks everybody who has donated so far to get us near to the stage where a Viking will arrive at Blackbushe Airport for the first time in more than 60 years.
