Hi Hi,

I’m Dan and for anyone that knows or has flown with me my entire personality is basically now running.

So with that obsession comes an opportunity to do it for a much better cause than just the love of running.

In April 2024 my mum (Anne) was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and since has quickly and drastically declined. The weight has dropped off her, eating habits gone, memory of course not what it used to be… 

This diagnosis being discovered after someone close to her stealing from her account to the point that the rent couldn’t even be paid.

It has been an absolute journey and struggle but she has dealt with everything with such positivity and this is one way I can ensure other families and friends impacted by similar situations get the help they need.

Honestly I could talk forever about the experience and the shocking times but what I would rather do is raise funds, run the miles and be a champion of the charity to share the positive work they provide !
