We’re on a mission to raise £16,000 for Flying Start this year

As part of our commitment to raise £16,000 for Flying Start this year, the Engineering Graduate Cohort 2025 will be organising a series of engaging fundraising activities. We have already run half marathon and had plenty of bake sales, but the best is yet to come!

From our biggest challenge, 4 Corners of UK, to a disco party and a T5 fundraising takeover, there are many different ways to get involved and show your support!

4 Corners of UK

In the 4 Corners of the UK Challenge, our cohort is completing a physical challenge in each of the four UK nations. Each challenge is designed to shine a spotlight on our UK maintenance bases and major supplier locations, recognising the breadth of our operation and the people who support it across the country whilst raising money for Flying Start!

• England - The first of these challenges is the BA Fleet Walkathon, which is a unique walking challenge inspired by our very own BA aircraft! The Walkathon follows the Thames Path from Greenwich to Richmond, with four distance options available. 
• Scotland- THE walk: Edinburgh to Glasgow on foot!
• Wales- Chapel Bogathlon: Return of the mud!
• Northern Island -  Mourne Mountains Hike

We'd love you to get involved in the BA Fleet Walkathon, by signing up to walk (BA colleagues, friends and family are all welcome), donating, or helping to spread the word.
