 New stretch target

100% of your donation will go to improve local financial wellbeing and celebrate community through community-led poverty alleviation programmes.

As prices soar, residents around our Community Centre are sharing stories of struggle to afford basic necessities like food, utilities, and hygiene products.

At RJ4All, we believe that no one should have to choose between eating and heating. That's why we are banding together to provide emergency community support to alleviate poverty, increase financial security, and promote physical and mental wellbeing.

Why does RJ4All need your help?

RJ4All is a non-profit, charitable organisation that relies on sponsors and donations to deliver services to achieve our goal of addressing poverty and redistributing power to build the world's first Restorative Justice Postcode.

Our Rotherhithe Community Centre serves one of London’s most underserved areas: our community presents high levels of social division and some of the highest deprivation levels in England. Just in Southwark, where our centre is based, child poverty surpasses the England average, with 27.6% of those under 16 living in poverty. Over 70% of the population is from ethnic minority groups.

As this crisis continues, we will need to expand the services that we provide. We cannot do that without support from donors like you!

Help us to provide these essential services to beat the cost-of-living crisis!

  • Teaching cost-saving skills and increasing financial independence through our Mending Club, Growing Club, and Cook & Connect sessions. Participants can learn creative ways to extend the life of their wardrobes, grow food to improve their mental and physical health, and learn recipes for low-cost, healthy meals .
  • Providing access to the basic essentials through our Food Bank, Community Kitchen, Hygiene Bank, and Charity Shop,  to provide more low-cost food and supplies.
  • Creating welcoming, warm spaces through our Public Living Room to encourage service users to warm up and have a cuppa, and connect with neighbours in a healthy and comfortable environment.
  • Nourishing our community by ensuring our food bank and community fridges are fully stocked and accessible, and hosting biweekly cooking sessions for local adults to learn food basics and socialise with one another.
  • Bridging the digital divide by providing people access to wifi, data, and shared community technology devices, as well as Digital Drop-In services on Thursday afternoons.

How will we spend the money raised?

We'll use the funds to cover the cost of new equipment, volunteering costs, training, essential supplies, nutritious food, warm spaces, community events, and H&S checks.

We hope you'll join us in supporting our local community through the cost of living crisis and increasing financial wellbeing. Together, we can provide vulnerable populations relief, and accomplish our goal of restoring justice.

How can you play your part?

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target and make this project a reality!

1. Make a pledge to support us. Momentum is the key to our success!

2. Spread the word and share our project on social media!

3. Offer rewards if you are a local business and we can give you a shout out! We're always looking for small prizes, vouchers, etc.

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser, hit the "contact project" button at the top of the page and let us know. It only takes a couple minutes to set up, and no bank details required. Just a fun idea!
