Every hour, a child in the UK is diagnosed with a critical illness, making them in line for a wish. Make-A-Wish UK’s vision is to grant as many of those wishes as possible.

For the families we support at Make-A-Wish UK, taking their child to a party can be incredibly difficult. And planning one themselves can feel completely out of reach. When a child has complex medical needs, even the simplest of celebrations can feel impossible. There are just too many extra complications to think about.
But with the help of wonderful people like you, Make-A-Wish UK can create a celebration designed around each child’s needs – a party where they can laugh, play, be surrounded by the people they love and simply feel like a child again.
We are granting a record number of wishes, but demand is rising faster than we can keep up. That means children are waiting longer than ever for their wish – and for some families, time is something they simply don’t have.
