My name is Melissa I work for British Airways customer service team in Newcastle, to be able to take part in this event is a dream and being able to rose money for such an amazing chairty makes it so much more special. 

Chain of Hope was founded in 1996 to provide life-saving heart surgeries to children who would otherwise find it impossible to receive. Our vision is that every child, no matter where they are born, has access to the life-saving cardiac care they deserve.

Every penny raised  in the London Marathon will go towards treating a child from a developing or war-torn country, or to fly our international volunteer medical team to a developing country to treat 10-20 patients during a mission. 

Chain of Hope is funded entirely by the generosity of individual donations.
