Support this amazing project in osprey project in Kielder forest and your donation will be doubled
High in the treetops on specially built eight metre high nesting posts in Kielder Forest, Northumberland, something extraordinary is happening.
From first feeds to sibling squabbles, every day has bought something new this season. Now, as the ospreys start to leave the safety of their nests, we wish them well on their epic migration to Africa.
Will you be part of this incredible wildlife story?
Donate, and thanks to British Airways, your donation will be doubled*. A small gift could make a difference
Watch nest 1a, two of the three youngsters have now departed their nest. Long stayer, Knowesgate, has sometimes returned. Watch the nest camera to see if she makes an appearance:

Watch Nest 12. We haven't see Kielder for a few days, but youngster Kershope has been seen recently:

Donate today and your donation goes twice as far. Every gift will help the ospreys of Kielder:
Without these purpose built nesting sites, the ospreys would not be able to nest and raise their young in Kielder.
Why we need your support
Kielder’s ospreys face real challenges; severe weather, migration risks and predators threaten their fragile recovery. Nature can be harsh. But there is hope. Last year, we watched from our cameras as osprey parents raised three chicks. Although sadly one did not survive, two female youngsters Ingram and Ingoe, survived.
Who we are:
Forestry England manages more land and trees than any other organisation in England. Some of our best-loved wildlife, including osprey's, depends on our careful and sustained land management for their survival. With less than 20% of our core funding coming from the government, we need to raise the remaining funds ourselves which includes fundraising for amazing projects like this.
Kielder is a great place to see a variety of wildlife. The Kielder osprey population has grown to become one of the largest natural colonies in the UK with an impressive six nests across 250 square miles forest.
Help be part of this incredible wildlife story.
Working together we can achieve so much more.
Forestry England is working with British Airways to raise funds for this amazing project.
The Kielder Osprey project is a partnership between Forestry England, Kielder Water & Forest Park Development Trust, Northumberland Wildlife Trust, Northumbrian Water and Wild Intrigue.
Thank you for your support today.
