Wherever peace is fractured we intervene and support young people through the power of football.

We at Football for Peace, know that football has the potential to help change the world.
Football is beautiful because it has the potential to tackle some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime. Historians have found that people have been coming together around a ball shaped object and kicking it to form a game for nearly 3,000 years! Today there are approximately 4 BILLION people drawn by passion. What is it about football that disappoints, upset BILLIONS (at some point) and they still come back to it!
For us it is the people! The teams, The fans, Business Leaders, World Leaders even Tribes in the Amazon, Your Friends, Our Friends and even HRH Prince William, all the other people that make up the 4 Billion of us that ‘LOVE’ football is what gives it the potential to be a powerful force of good in the world.
According to the Global Peace Index, the average level of global peacefulness has declined for the sixth consecutive year. The challenges communities are facing are becoming more complex with multiple issues to be tackled simultaneously, with violent crime increases as well as the aftermath effects of a global pandemic which has seen food insecurities grow and a range of social harms develop. Those most affected by these challenges are young people.
In response to these challenges the Football Saves Lives Campaign was launched in 2019 by HRH Prince William to enhance the skills of young people and create safe spaces for youth development through the power of football and education.
As part of the campaign Football for Peace provide support to those most in need through our Peace Centres. The centres uniquely combine football training, holistic and educational life skills workshops, with community engagement activities led by young people.
Our Peace Centres encourage local community engagement, offer underrepresented communities within the city an integral point of education mentorship, enterprise, development and connecting local needs to a range of accessible services. Weekly sessions run year-round providing under privileged communities an opportunity to participate and learn.
Our aim is to open a new Peace Centre in London, UK to support 1,000 vulnerable young people and communities in need annually, but we need your support to make it happen!
The Peace Centre will:
- Support young people grow in leadership, communication and team building equipping them with skills for life and work
- Help young people develop skills and levels of self-confidence that supports them to engage in groups, reduce loneliness and enable a sense of belonging
- Increased connectivity and stronger relationships between people from different backgrounds across the community
- Provide young people with the right support to positively serve their own community challenges acting as young leaders.
The one thing that all football fans have in common is that they all live here together on this planet at this moment in time. This is what has been one of the driving forces of our foundation. Our vision? That every country in the world will one day use football towards serving prosperity, environmental and societal change for humanity and our planet.
We don’t want to complain about what we are seeing, and we don’t want to ignore what we are seeing; we want to be part of doing something about it! We want to do things now that can contribute (in whatever small but important way) to the chance of a better future for humanity and our planet, working towards the conditions that can create and allow for peace.
Help us in providing the necessary education, guidance and inspiration for young people in need.
This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
