Cycling 100 miles in a single day is never going to be easy, especially for someone in their 50s! Why no to set myself a challenge?
I'm raising money for Alzheimer's Society in memory of my partner's late Grandad. It was heartbreaking to watch such a cruel illness gradually take away the person we knew and loved. Seeing the impact it had on him and the family was incredibly difficult.
Alzheimer's affects millions of people and their loved ones every day. If pushing myself through 100 miles can help raise awareness and support research into this devastating disease, then every mile will be worth it.
