Flying Start is the global charity partnership between British Airways and Comic Relief. Together, we want to help people in the UK and around the world to have the best possible start in life and the chance to have a brighter future. Since our partnership began in 2010, British Airways customers and colleagues have raised over £27m, an incredible amount that we are immensely proud of!
This Red Nose Day, we’re coming together again to raise some smiles – and some money – to help people through the toughest times of their lives. By donating your Avios points, you’ll be part of something amazing that’s helping people in the UK and around the world to break free from poverty.
It doesn’t have to cost the earth to help change lives. Whether it’s £5, £10 or £50, you can help people who are facing the toughest times of their lives. Please donate what you can, now. We promise to put your donation to good use.
- £5 could provide a child with a disability in Kenya with essential equipment so that they can go to school
- £10 could help provide 40 meals for families at a local community centre in the UK
- £50 could help pay for a two week intensive therapy course for a young disabled person in Malawi
