Deliver multiple Get Into programmes to support more young people into careers in aviation.
Growing up can be hard whoever you are. But for young people facing adversity such as mental health issues, challenges at home or at school, or even homelessness - it can feel impossible.
At The King's Trust, we help young people to develop confidence and essential life skills to transform their futures. All with the goal of supporting them towards securing work that can lead to a more stable, fulfilling life.
Our courses are delivered in schools, colleges, and workplaces, with our trusted partners or by our own frontline staff.
We're proud to partner with British Airways and deliver our invaluable 'Get Into Aviation' programme. This course provides young people with the chance to explore the aviation industry and gain meaningful, hands-on work experience - the kind of opportunity our young people might not have access to without the generous support of partners like British Airways.
We’ve been working with young people since 1976 and we’ve supported more than 1,000,000 young people to date. Today, our work is more vital than ever.
Young people starting their working lives today have faced an unprecedented and complex set of barriers, including disruption to their education and an unstable jobs market.
In supporting young people to thrive, not only do we create a profound impact on their lives, but we also make a difference to our wider society and economy. And whilst the challenges for disadvantaged young people are extensive, if we can raise the vital funds we need, thousands more young people will get the chance to reach their potential.
As a charity, we know what we do works but none of it is possible without your generous support.
£10 could fund a call to our helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person gain the critical advice they need.
£20 could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector.
£50 could cover the cost of a young person's commute before their first pay check, a barrier that could otherwise prevent them from holding down their first job.
Join us and help us give thousands of young people the chance to create a better future.
