Back in November, I had the opportunity to visit Butterflies in Delhi, one of the projects that we support through Flying Start, and see first hand the difference they make to their local community. I also spent a magical afternoon doing the above painting with the Butterflies children. 

As part of the internal comms team, I've been supporting Flying Start by raising awareness and encouraging colleagues across the airline to get involved in events like Red Nose Day, but it's moments like those spent in Delhi that remind me of the impact we can have – and what inspires me to dive headfirst into this (crazy) challenge 🪂✨

For those unfamiliar with Flying Start, it's a programme that helps disadvantaged young people in the communities we fly to the chance to have a brighter future. Together with our colleagues and customers, we've raised over £28 million and counting.
