Flying Start

Since June 2010, British Airways’ Flying Start programme has worked in partnership with Comic Relief to help give disadvantaged young people in the communities we fly to the chance to have a brighter future. So far, thanks to the incredible efforts of our colleagues and customers, we have raised over £28 million and counting.

In the past three years, we’ve raised more than £2 million alone for early childhood development projects in the UK, India, South Africa and Ghana. These projects include community-based health and education services, as well as providing support to families with young children.

The Tournament

We're a mix of commercial analysts and N&A analysts and planning executives, putting down our laptops and lacing up our boots for the day. Featuring 3 members of last year's winning team, and some strong new additions, we have high hopes for a second year of gold. We'll be training hard for the big day and aim to make as much money as possible for a fantastic cause. Come spectate on the day, spectator tickets are £5 with all ticket proceeds going towards Flying Start!
